Client: Emission Treatment Solutions (ETS)
Project: Odour Control Unit (OCU)

An odour control unit (OCU) process typically involves capturing odorous air from a source, then passing it through a treatment medium like an Activated Carbon Filter (ACF), and Bio-Tricking Filter (BTF), which chemically reacts with and neutralizes the odour molecules, resulting in cleaner air being released back into the environment. CST Automation worked closely with the ETS team to provide a complete electrical and automation solution for the entire OCU plant. The project's electrical installation, commissioning, automation, and human-machine interface (HMI) were successfully delivered by CST Automation.

Project: Akzo Noble Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO)

A regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) process involves drawing polluted air into a system, preheating it using a ceramic heat exchanger bed that stores heat from previously cleaned air, then passing it through a combustion chamber where pollutants are oxidized at high temperatures, and finally cooling the clean air by transferring its heat back into another ceramic bed to preheat the next batch of incoming polluted air. CST Automation worked Closely with ETS Team. CST Automation worked closely with the ETS team to provide a complete electrical and automation solution for the entire unit. The project's electrical installation, commissioning, automation, and human-machine interface (HMI) were successfully delivered by CST Automation.

Project: Boiler Control Panel

A boiler control panel is the central hub for monitoring and controlling boiler operations, ensuring safe and efficient functioning. The control panel integrates various sensors, controllers, and actuators to manage water level, temperature, pressure, and combustion. CST Automation worked closely with the Tomlinson team to provide a complete electrical and automation solution for the Boiler System. The project's electrical installation, commissioning, automation, and human-machine interface (HMI) were successfully delivered by CST Automation.

Project: Bioclens Plant

The Bioclens Plant is a mobile, shipping container-based advanced biological treatment system designed to efficiently and sustainably tackle nitrate levels in contaminated water. CST Automation worked closely with the Clean TeQ Water team to provide a complete electrical and automation solution for the entire unit. The project's electrical installation, commissioning, automation, and human-machine interface (HMI) were successfully delivered by CST Automation.

Client: CreatEnergy
Project: Oil Processing Unit

The oil processing unit is a shipping container based mobile unit that can process many sources of hydrocarbon products. CST Automation worked closely with CreatEnergy through the design and manufacturing stages to tailor an automation solution for remote applications and operation. This also involved developing a web-based portal employing 3G connectivity to provide diagnosis and remote operation and monitoring. The project design, construction, installation and commissioning of the entire electrical system, automation, and human machine interfacing delivered a 1st of type trial unit assisting with market commercialisation.

Project: Melbourne Water East Drop Structure

The east drop structure is a greenfield plant located under the Westgate bridge in Melbourne. It uses a biological process to remove wastewater odour from an air vent before the pipeline drops under the Yarra River. CST Automation was to provide a complete electrical and automation solution for the entire plant. This included the supply, manufacture and install of a main control panel, 7 field mounted junction boxes, all cabling, the PLC and program, and 2 human machine interfaces.
